Leo Chupron Jr., President has over fourty-one years of combined military, police and private investigative experience. He is a Vietnam Veteran having served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Upon his discharge, Leo joined the Hartford Police Department and helped coordinate several local, state and federal task forces, including the Connecticut Statewide Narcotics Task Force. He was also assigned to the FBI and DEA. While working as s a police officer, Leo attended Tunxis Community College, majoring in Criminal Justice. After retiring from the Hartford Police Department as a detective, Leo opened Target Investigations & Surveillance, LLC. He worked closely with the insurance companies and private industry to curtail fraud. Leo was the past president and founder of the Connecticut Association of Licensed Private Investigators and continues to be a current board member.

Timothy Palmer, has over thirty-seven years of police and insurance investigative experience. Tim worked at the Hartford Police Department for twenty-four years before retiring as a lieutenant. He then worked at the Travelers Insurance Company as a member of their Special Investigative Unit (SIU) for the next nine years, investigating all types of insurance losses. Tim has an associates degree in Criminology and a B.A. degree in Communications. Tim has taught Business Communications classes at Naugatuck Valley Community College in Waterbury, CT, as an adjunct professor. He is currently a partner with Target Investigations & Surveillance, LLC. Tim is a member of the Connecticut Association of Licensed Private Investigators and a Notary Public.

Peter Barton, has over thirty-seven years of police and investigative experience. Peter was a member of the Bristol Police Department for over twenty-seven years and retired at as a detective-sergeant. During his tour with the Bristol Police Department, he was assigned to the Connecticut Statewide Narcotics Task Force, the Bristol Police Narcotics Unit and Criminal Investigation Division. While working as a police officer, Peter earned an Associates Degree in Police Science and a B.A. degree in Sociology from Central Connecticut State University. Upon retirement, Peter spent a year in Iraq as an International Police Advisor, under the U.S. State Department's CIVPOL program, training Iraqi and Kurdish police forces. Upon his return to the United States, he joined Target Investigations & Surveillance, LLC. as a partner. Peter is a member of the Connecticut Association of Licensed Private Investigators and a Notary Public.

Steven Wirz is a Vietnam Army Veteran and past Commander of he American Legion Post 40. Steve is an expert in electronic security and video surveillance systems, both covert and permanent. Steve is an associate of our company and has worked with us for over 20 years. Steve is a registered Private Investigator in the State of Connecticut and is a Notary Public.

 

 

James Stratos is an associate of our company and a former police officer with the Hartford Police Department and is a recipient of the Department's Distinguished Service Medal. James is a current member of the Hartford Police Veteran's Association, Greater Hartford Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Lodge 30, CT State Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Trustee, member of the Police and Fire Association of Hartford, CT and Certified IDPA Safety Officer. James is also a member of the Connecticut Association of Licensed Private Investigators, a registered Private Investigator in the State of Connecticut, member of Nikon Professional Services and a Notary Public.
